When Does the CSAH-25 Make More Sense Than the CSAH-30?
The decision is not only about battery chemistry. The CSAH-25 is rated at 2500kg, measures 2450mm long excluding forks and weighs 3400kg. The CSAH-30 moves up to 3000kg capacity, 2700mm length and 3700kg vehicle weight.
For an operation that does not require 3 ton capacity, the CSAH-25 keeps the machine shorter and lighter while retaining the same 3 meter lifting height and 1200mm overall width.
The CSAH-25 also uses a maintenance-free lead-acid battery system, while the CSAH-30 uses lithium. In general, lithium batteries are more convenient for frequent opportunity charging and require less routine battery attention, while lead-acid remains a familiar battery format for many forklift operators. Actual battery choice should still be based on the required shift pattern, charger setup and purchase configuration.
